Atlético Bucaramanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Weterio Caceo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustaquio Azibar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan-Carlos Gonzalo having to make a save. Marcelino Sayvion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Juan-Carlos Gonzalo made a huge save. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Sayvion went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Alfonso Domeka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Carlos Gonzalo having to interfere. The Cremonese players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
