The supporters of Atlético Bucaramanga booed when Riemannian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Olle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes, Louis Gonzalvez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riemannian and the Atlético Bucaramanga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Louis Gonzalvez hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weterio Caceo in the 27th minute of play forced Riemannian's goalkeeper David Mangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Riemannian's goal looked a bit too open when Weterio Caceo came free, but David Mangas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lugo Saavedra took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Mangas. David Mangas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Atlético Bucaramanga's Silban Bonifaz got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st match minute, Riemannian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luar Pascual to maneuver through the defense. When Weterio Caceo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Atlético Bucaramanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weterio Caceo couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Atlético Bucaramanga's Juan-Carlos Gonzalo got control of the ball when Louis Gonzalvez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Atlético Bucaramanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silban Bonifaz to maneuver through the defense. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis-Javier Durango, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Luis-Javier Durango made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Nabucodonosor Segundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Riemannian:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético Bucaramanga:s goal. In the 79th minute Atlético Bucaramanga were awarded a corner. Sherman Cardenas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Atlético Bucaramanga's Sherman Cardenas to fire away a dangerous shot which David Mangas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Riemannian's Luis-Javier Durango nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Atlético Bucaramanga's Juan-Carlos Gonzalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Gonzalvez in the 87th minute of play. David Mangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silban Bonifaz in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Bucaramanga's Lugo Saavedra got a free kick in the 91st minute. Dorio Herrera hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Riemannian players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
