Frank Ottaviani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Juan-Carlos Gonzalo made a huge save. Frank Ottavianis short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Juan-Carlos Gonzalo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 19th minute, Edoardo Mattei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Adriano Sabatini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Weterio Caceo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Arturo Verdone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Ottaviani in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan-Carlos Gonzalo saved Atlético Bucaramanga from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Frank Ottaviani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 38 minutes into the match, Frank Ottaviani dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan-Carlos Gonzalo, 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Vitelli got free with Juan-Carlos Gonzalo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atlético Bucaramanga's Juan-Carlos Gonzalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Ottaviani in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Weterio Caceo was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Frank Ottaviani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Ferrante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Carlos Gonzalo having to interfere. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Frank Ottaviani got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes in the game, Silban Bonifaz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adriano Sabatini having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Frank Ottaviani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the match, Frank Ottaviani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan-Carlos Gonzalo. Atlético Bucaramanga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Ottaviani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Ferrante, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Vitelli came free, but Juan-Carlos Gonzalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Ottaviani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edoardo Mattei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Atlético Bucaramanga defense, Frank Ottaviani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan-Carlos Gonzalo. The Atlético Bucaramanga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan-Carlos Gonzalo should have stopped the shot. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
