The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- defense, Tinguaro Palau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valer Nuțu. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valer Nuțu should have stopped the shot. Valer Nuțu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tinguaro Palau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14th play minutes Tinguaro Palau shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Valer Nuțu and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tinguaro Palau in the 17th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Valer Nuțu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SiTomanBoy´s were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jasone Manns took the corner. SiTomanBoy´s's Sandro Riesco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valer Nuțu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Tinguaro Palau put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Valer Nuțu. In the 24th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Strugure to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s zone, Jasone Manns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valer Nuțu came out of the goal and Jasone Manns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valer Nuțu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tinguaro Palau in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tinguaro Palau in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valer Nuțu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurín Cohen kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petre Benga got free with Guillermo Bermúdez in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute of the match SiTomanBoy´s got a corner. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jasone Manns ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 45 minutes of play, SiTomanBoy´s's Tinguaro Palau made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valer Nuțu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tinguaro Palau was the one to do the kick off. Tinguaro Palau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Nuțu having to interfere. 1-4 became the score in the 53rd minute when Petre Benga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Valer Nuțu made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tinguaro Palau sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Riesco got free with Valer Nuțu in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Valer Nuțu managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when SiTomanBoy´s's Tinguaro Palau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valer Nuțu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tinguaro Palau in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when SiTomanBoy´s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darío Brizuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vali Aurelianu's late challenge caught a SiTomanBoy´s's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vali Aurelianu helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Vali Aurelianu. Petre Benga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Guillermo Bermúdez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valer Nuțu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tinguaro Palau in the 77th minute. A hard shot 82 in the game by Tinguaro Palau from a close distance when the talented Valer Nuțu managed to make a qualified save. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s players were relieved. Tinguaro Palau in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valer Nuțu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Tinguaro Palau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SiTomanBoy´s's performance. The match ended with a win for SiTomanBoy´s.
