The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Franja Dorada's zone, Cosimo Tagliente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Hodei came out of the goal and Cosimo Tagliente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-0 became the score in the 5th minute when Alfonso Palban elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Militros F.C.'s zone, Alfonso Palban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Zanussi came out of the goal and Alfonso Palban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Paulão Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Patricio Abajas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erasmo Zanussi, 2-1. Placido Isidor got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nicasio Dodorol. In the 28th match minute, Franja Dorada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Remicio to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Placido Isidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Patricio Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Zanussi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Abajas in the 46th minute of play forced Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper Erasmo Zanussi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Militros F.C.'s Erasmo Zanussi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Militros F.C. from getting a goal against them. Nicasio Dodorol made a great header on Franja Dorada's corner, it was just that Militros F.C.'s Erasmo Zanussi managed to reach the ball for a save. After 49 minutes, Paulão Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Militros F.C. and the Franja Dorada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulão Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. The Franja Dorada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Militros F.C. were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Alfonso Palban made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Franja Dorada's Patricio Abajas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Zanussi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Lisandro Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Militros F.C.'s Francisco Regis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Franja Dorada. Erasmo Zanussi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Abajas in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Militros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Jeraldo came free, but Erasmo Zanussi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match Franja Dorada got a corner. Militros F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patricio Abajas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cosimo Tagliente hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Paulão Freire hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Paulão Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Patricio Abajas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmo Zanussi skillfully saved the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's Fernan Jeraldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Zanussi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wanderson Valencia scored 4-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Hodei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Zanussi in the 95th minute of the match.
