The referee ignored New Loser FC's protests and gave Reinaldo Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tabajara Londrina LBFC booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Quirino. Eliseu Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Vinhas in the 18th minute of the match. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Vinhas in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Virgílio Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Loser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Roger Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Eliseu Negri. New Loser FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Virgílio Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgílio Diniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute Raimundo de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gildo Corrêa during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gildo Corrêa hit a great ball. A hard shot 35 in the game by Hernani Ramos from a close distance when the talented Charles Valladares managed to make a qualified save. Tabajara Londrina LBFC's players were relieved. Charles Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Diniz in the 61st minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Nunes came free, but Eliseu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erik Eger fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After a defensive mix-up in New Loser FC's zone, Raimundo de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Negri came out of the goal and Raimundo de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Hernani Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Loser FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernani Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tabajara Londrina LBFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
