Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Franja Dorada's Alfonso Palban started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in Franja Dorada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Ramos in the 15th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Franja Dorada got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Tajo. Venancio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Jeraldo came free, but Eliseu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Franja Dorada got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Remicio. 42 minutes into the game, one of New Loser FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Eliseu Negri, was totally fooled by Franja Dorada's Patricio Abajas, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gildo Corrêa was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei got control of the ball when Hernani Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Franja Dorada from getting a goal against them. Aquilino Tajo made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernan Jeraldo however managed to control. Erik Eger hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gildo Corrêa charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildo Corrêa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Gildo Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Tajo made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Natalio Milio. The supporters of Franja Dorada booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Jeraldo in the 77th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Hernani Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venancio Hodei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Gildo Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
