Almiro Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Reis in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Santiago got free with Jim Kamps in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels-Jan Drok to maneuver through the defense. Rúben Dantas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jim Kamps. Springplank FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jari Litmanen in the 42nd minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Almiro Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Eliseu Mourinho made the kick off in the second half. Resulhan Özdoruk kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Rúben Dantas in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Springplank FC's Freek Reitsema. In the 58th minute Miguel Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Kamps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when Springplank FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Resulhan Özdoruk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Clube Patrício's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rúben Dantas in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Sporting Clube Patrício's corner Rúben Dantas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jim Kamps quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Miguel Santiago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Rafael Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Jim Kamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Santiago in the 89th minute of play. After 93 played minutes, Sporting Clube Patrício's Rafael Sá shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jim Kamps came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
