Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) FV Wienerwald's Harald Delb started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Norman-Alexander Wellmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sunday Oliseh in the 4th minute of the match. Ferdi Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman-Alexander Wellmann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Springplank FC's Resulhan Özdoruk got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, FV Wienerwald's Harald Delb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jim Kamps made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai van de Sand in the 19th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Jim Kamps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Kamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo Jani in the 20th minute of the match. Freek Reitsema's late challenge caught a FV Wienerwald's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freek Reitsema helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Springplank FC got a freekick which was hit by Freek Reitsema. Springplank FC's Jim Kamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Delb in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Eddie Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman-Alexander Wellmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Murphy came free, but Norman-Alexander Wellmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Springplank FC were awarded a corner. Ferdi Reis went to the cornerflag to take it. Springplank FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Kai van de Sand scored to the left of an out of position Jim Kamps, making the score, 2-0. Jim Kamps made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Delb in the 32nd minute. Harald Delb's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jim Kamps firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sunday Oliseh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman-Alexander Wellmann having to interfere. In the 37th minute Ferdi Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman-Alexander Wellmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Reis in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harald Delb got free with Jim Kamps in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdi Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kai van de Sand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jim Kamps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hartmut Wannemacher in the 60th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Jim Kamps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Freek Reitsema came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Springplank FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freek Reitsema couldn't finish the play. After 70 minutes of play, FV Wienerwald's Hartmut Wannemacher made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jim Kamps was left in no man's land by his defense there! Springplank FC's Jim Kamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider in the 75th minute of play. When FV Wienerwald's Harald Delb in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Springplank FC's goalie prevented a goal. FV Wienerwald's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kai van de Sand in the 78th minute. The corner ended in Kai van de Sand almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Springplank FC's Jim Kamps did a great save. When Harald Delb, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jim Kamps was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Buchwalder came free, but Jim Kamps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Patrik Kölblinger got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 88th match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steffen Konsel to maneuver through the defense. If Kai van de Sand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FV Wienerwald had won after a very even match.
