If Vítor Roque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

ATHLETICO PRaiano's Micael Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Playo in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Damion Noble hit a great ball. Márcio Cardoso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jack Potts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micael Moreira having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Ampthill FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
