Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narciso Sindo started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Roberto Txaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bianco Mannucci fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carloforte f.c.'s protests and gave Bianco Mannucci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute Arturo De Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Silvano Salvadore got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carloforte f.c. were furious when Milan Lanzhev was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carloforte f.c.! Narciso Sindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvano Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo De Vito in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Goyo saved Patricio Rey Futbol Club from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Arturo De Vito notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Rogelio Goyo. Rogelio Goyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Narciso Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Savoia having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Roberto Txaran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carloforte f.c. the free kick. Narciso Sindo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Savoia. Beppe Savoia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo De Vito in the 38th minute of play forced Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Salvino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Armin Scotti was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Arturo De Vito put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rogelio Goyo. 47 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Beppe Savoia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Sindo. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo De Vito to strike the kick off in the second half. Ercole Galeone hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Narciso Sindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvano Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arturo De Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rogelio Goyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Sindo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Cesare Cinalli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Goyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The corner led Carloforte f.c.'s Armin Scotti to fire away a dangerous shot which Rogelio Goyo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 72 played minutes Patricio Rey Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Ireno. Beppe Savoia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Salvadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Elia Crisantemo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo De Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rogelio Goyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Nicolas Eguntsenti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patricio Rey Futbol Club and the Carloforte f.c. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicolas Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Armin Scotti hit a great ball. Elia Crisantemo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Goyo having to interfere. Rogelio Goyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo De Vito in the 93rd minute of the match. Cesare Cinalli hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Beppe Savoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carloforte f.c. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
