The supporters of Maxaranguape - FSCMZ booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marquinhos Messias during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Marquinhos Messias got a free kick in the 21st minute. Andrézinho Gaúcho hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With his leg Nestor Carioca managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Andrézinho Gaúcho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 52nd match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Messias to maneuver through the defense. If Luiz Fábio Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Carioca made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cacá Hermes sent off a good shot on target. Marquinhos Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Remo Falcão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrenta SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 79 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Nestor Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséias de Castro. Aloísio Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yuri Alberto went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, Oséias de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aloísio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Falcão in the 90th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Barrenta SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
