Earle Franklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pieter-Jan Wagemakers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Watts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristof Klompe in the 22nd minute. Kristof Klompe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dean Watts made a huge save. Dean Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Foeke Toolenaar in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Kristof Klompe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 46 minutes of play, Amputees FC's Fabian Worsley made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pieter-Jan Wagemakers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Amputees FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 63 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Worsley. Foeke Toolenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pieter-Jan Wagemakers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Worsley in the 69th minute of play. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Schildkamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dean Watts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for De Digitale Dribbelaars.
