In the 8thth minute of the game Fernandinho Loureiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guará FC's Emílio Motta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 9 in the game by Luís Gustavo Gerber from a close distance when the talented Dudu de Toledo managed to make a qualified save. Scarlet Speedster's players were relieved. Flavinho Alagoano succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Emílio Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernandinho Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reinaldo Maia in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emílio Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernandinho Loureiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Motta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernandinho Loureiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Loureiro came free, but Emílio Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Scarlet Speedster's Fernandinho Loureiro in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guará FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! After 43 minutes of play, Scarlet Speedster's Fernandinho Loureiro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th match minute, Guará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Gino do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Scarlet Speedster were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Gustavo Gerber made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernandinho Loureiro got free with Emílio Motta in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Scarlet Speedster's Fernandinho Loureiro in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Scarlet Speedster played a much better game than Guará FC and deserved their victory. The Guará FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
