Spectators: 7682 (Terracing: 5762, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Seterma Tractors's Petrus Catarinense started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match, Osvaldo Terra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bermudo Mestre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Petrus Catarinense sped through Borussia Dortmund's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bermudo Mestre. After 8 minutes, Alberto Tafoya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund and the Seterma Tractors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Tafoya kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 11 minutes Borussia Dortmund's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chollatit Reungaksorn who took care of the corner kick. Seterma Tractors's Chollatit Reungaksorn was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bermudo Mestre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Borussia Dortmund's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Cícero de Medeiros scored to the left of an out of position Bermudo Mestre, making the score, 2-0. Robinho de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reimundo Olarria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafoya struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Robinho de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. 25 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Bermudo Mestre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chollatit Reungaksorn. Bermudo Mestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero de Medeiros in the 32nd minute of play. Bermudo Mestre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Terra went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Demesio Tarapiella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chollatit Reungaksorn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bermudo Mestre. Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Seterma Tractors's Chollatit Reungaksorn got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Fernandez Quintairos made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafoya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Robinho de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borussia Dortmund's Bermudo Mestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chollatit Reungaksorn in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Terra in the 59th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Bermudo Mestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Osvaldo Terra made a precise shot to the right of Bermudo Mestre. Borussia Dortmund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Borussia Dortmund's Bermudo Mestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrus Catarinense in the 67th minute of play. Bermudo Mestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Robinho de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafoya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Seterma Tractors booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fliz Marty didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrus Catarinense in the 81st minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Bermudo Mestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Borussia Dortmund's Alberto Tafoya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robinho de Sena. Robinho de Sena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. When Reimundo Olarria fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund's protests and gave Reimundo Olarria a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Reimundo Olarria. Bermudo Mestre came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Seterma Tractors's Chollatit Reungaksorn. But to his dismay, Chollatit Reungaksorn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Alberto Tafoya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Robinho de Sena when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
