An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Loureiro in the 5th minute of play forced Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Tomasz Rutkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scarlet Speedster's Dudu de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Zapolski in the 6th minute of play. When Fernandinho Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Loureiro couldn't finish the play. Szczepan Dropinski's late challenge caught a Scarlet Speedster's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szczepan Dropinski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Reinaldo Maia made a precise shot to the right of Tomasz Rutkowski. Szczakowianka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Szczakowianka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Zapolski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Szczakowianka booed when Scarlet Speedster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silas Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tomasz Rutkowski made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Adamowicz in the 29th minute of play forced Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Dudu de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Jonas Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scarlet Speedster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szczakowianka the free kick. Jonas Moreira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silas Marinho got free with Tomasz Rutkowski in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scarlet Speedster's Dudu de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Zapolski in the 34th minute of play. Dudu de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Niedbalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomasz Rutkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Loureiro in the 40th minute of the match. When Jânio Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Guimarães couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Scarlet Speedster's Bart Allen got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's Maciej Haszczak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dudu de Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Slawomir Adamowicz made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Marinho came free, but Tomasz Rutkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walery Niedbalski struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Dudu de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szczakowianka. Jonas Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomasz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Reinaldo Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernandinho Loureiro in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomasz Rutkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zbyszek Petka hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, Scarlet Speedster's Jânio Guimarães made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomasz Rutkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silas Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scarlet Speedster's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
