The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robinho de Sena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Seterma Tractors booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guará FC's Emílio Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrus Catarinense in the 21st minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Flavinho Alagoano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robinho de Sena. Flavinho Alagoano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 31st minute, Petrus Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emílio Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrus Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Emílio Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Terra in the 41st minute of play. Diamantino de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seterma Tractors's Robinho de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Alagoano in the 46th minute of play.

53 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petrus Catarinense came free, but Emílio Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petrus Catarinense in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emílio Motta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Guará FC's Leopoldo Rodrigues got a free kick in the 67th minute. Guará FC's Emílio Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Guará FC from getting a goal against them. In the 74th match minute, Seterma Tractors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Flavinho Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petrus Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Motta having to interfere. If Diamantino de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavinho Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Seterma Tractors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guará FC.
