Östen Lundin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Ruperto Bastia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Mellansels stationsgäng booed when MDQ Raptors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Efren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Mellansels stationsgäng got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Forsberg. Mellansels stationsgäng's Fredrik Almqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Etxatxu in the 41st minute of play. Bengt-Åke Caspersson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to MDQ Raptors FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ildefonso Efren hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Östen Lundin to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Östen Lundin came free, but Ruperto Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored MDQ Raptors FC's protests and gave Justino Bernal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Justino Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MDQ Raptors FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
