Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) The audience thought a goal was coming when Cédric Payen got free with Augustus Batalla in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Augustus Batalla threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cédric Payen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bustick Sport's Maurinho Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7thth minute of the game Ionică Şendrea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bustick Sport's Augustus Batalla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ionică Şendrea came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Minerul Baita -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionică Şendrea couldn't finish the play. Augustus Batalla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cédric Payen in the 10th minute. Codruț Podgoreanu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Amancio Carlomagno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cédric Payen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augustus Batalla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Matos in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Cédric Payen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustus Batalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minerul Baita -MM- were furious when Mons Vallestad was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 36th minute, one of Minerul Baita -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Minerul Baita -MM-. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Bustick Sport. Gerardo Galo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sergiu Cobâlcescu. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Aureo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Cobâlcescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st match minute, Bustick Sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Teofilio to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes of play, Bustick Sport's Maurinho Matos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergiu Cobâlcescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualterio Aureo to strike the kick off in the second half. Maurinho Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 51st minute, Ionică Şendrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the game, Maurinho Matos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sergiu Cobâlcescu. Maurinho Matos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Bogi Miner was substituted for Dudu Georgescu. In the 68th minute Bustick Sport were awarded a corner. Gerardo Galo went to the cornerflag to take it. 71 minutes into the game, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionică Şendrea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustus Batalla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Augustus Batalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cédric Payen, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Codruț Podgoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustus Batalla having to interfere. Codruț Podgoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bustick Sport supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bustick Sport would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
