In the 4thth minute of the game Romualdo Hetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bustick Sport's Augustus Batalla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute Maurinho Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Landoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when Bustick Sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pichit Mercier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romualdo Hetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustus Batalla having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Fidel Didier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Landoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bustick Sport's zone, Romualdo Hetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustus Batalla came out of the goal and Romualdo Hetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Aurelio Raffo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bustick Sport's Augustus Batalla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Maurinho Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Bustick Sport's goal looked a bit too open when Romualdo Hetz came free, but Augustus Batalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute C.D. Pepino’s were awarded a corner. Norino Zuasnabar went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on C.D. Pepino’s's corner Norino Zuasnabar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Augustus Batalla quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Pujadas to maneuver through the defense. Bustick Sport's Amancio Carlomagno quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fidel Didier, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Norino Zuasnabar charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norino Zuasnabar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Aurelio Raffo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the C.D. Pepino’s fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Raffo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bustick Sport getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jaime Urritz hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes C.D. Pepino’s got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Ceresso. Maurinho Matos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ubaldo Matildo Landoff firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half C.D. Pepino’s were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Romualdo Hetz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Augustus Batalla made a huge save. Ubaldo Matildo Landoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Raffo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustus Batalla having to interfere. A collision led to Bustick Sport getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gaston Havier hit a great ball. C.D. Pepino’s's Ervigio Jaras was substituted for Norino Zuasnabar. Damaso Teofilio made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Maurinho Matos immediately put the ball in play. C.D. Pepino’s's Teodosio Estévez got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Gorka hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Jaime Urritz got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Damaso Teofilio. Bustick Sport's Augustus Batalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Estévez in the 93rd minute of play. The C.D. Pepino’s supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.D. Pepino’s would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
