If Ede Edelényi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gergely Soós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lou Harnack's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, Nimród Vére was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márk Kovács to maneuver through the defense. The goal made the score 3-0. 46 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's goal looked a bit too open when Lou Harnack came free, but Gergely Soós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Berosch in the 97th minute of play forced Nimród Vére's goalkeeper Gergely Soós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
