VfL Bad Nenndorf's Lou Harnack was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionică Şendrea got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The VfL Bad Nenndorf fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when VfL Bad Nenndorf's Lou Harnack looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Theo Chef charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theo Chef the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when VfL Bad Nenndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Chef didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23rd play minutes Lou Harnack shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Sergiu Cobâlcescu and just under the crossbar into goal. Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boubacar Otabo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Cédric Payen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Xalo Camara hit a great ball. VfL Bad Nenndorf were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Minerul Baita -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Dierk Christidis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cédric Payen in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remo Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes in the game, Dudu Georgescu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Remo Borges having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lou Harnack was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Lou Harnack ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sergiu Cobâlcescu. Sergiu Cobâlcescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Sergiu Cobâlcescu was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Boubacar Otabo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boubacar Otabo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lou Harnack, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Sergiu Cobâlcescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lou Harnack in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lou Harnack's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 63 minutes, Lou Harnack made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Sergiu Cobâlcescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Boubacar Otabo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lou Harnack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sergiu Cobâlcescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Kühlem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mons Vallestad to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lou Harnack in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergiu Cobâlcescu saved Minerul Baita -MM- from getting behind. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Remo Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogi Miner in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Codruț Podgoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Codruț Podgoreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cédric Payen in the 94th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Remo Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. VfL Bad Nenndorf walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
