An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Şendrea in the 3rd minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Eriberto Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cédric Payen in the 5th minute of the match. Ricart Futebol Clube's Eriberto Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Şendrea in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Georgescu came free, but Eriberto Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romário Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cédric Payen in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cédric Payen in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Pinheiro saved Ricart Futebol Clube from getting behind. Sergiu Cobâlcescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionică Şendrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dudu Georgescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Cédric Payen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugeniusz Mnich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ricart Futebol Clube's zone, Xalo Camara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Pinheiro came out of the goal and Xalo Camara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Pontes in the 41st minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Sergiu Cobâlcescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dudu Georgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquinhos Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romário Pontes to make the kick off. Eriberto Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Dudu Georgescu sent off a good shot on target. When Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionică Şendrea in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Cédric Payen put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eriberto Pinheiro. Marquinhos Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergiu Cobâlcescu having to make a save. In the 68th minute Mugur Hurmuzache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Eriberto Pinheiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sergiu Cobâlcescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Pontes's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Minerul Baita -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luan Cordeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Ricart Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. In the 84th minute, Ionică Şendrea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Mo Yin Wen replaced Mons Vallestad. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Victor Lupeanu was substituted for Rudolf Magnusson. Codruț Podgoreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Eriberto Pinheiro made a huge save. A hard shot by Eugeniusz Mnich from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Eriberto Pinheiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Minerul Baita -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
