With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keiran Longstaffe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mitch Beard during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Mitch Beard got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute of the match, Bart Sutton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dorking United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kasper Björklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bart Sutton was the one to do the kick off. Atletico de la Rosa CF's Iván Hurtado managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arif Sum in the 52 minute of the game. The supporters of Dorking United FC booed when Atletico de la Rosa CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorking United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kasper Björklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When the match was over Atletico de la Rosa CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dorking United FC throughout the match.
