The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Franco came free, but Faron Resto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Duarte Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind BEIJO CARNAVAL's goalkeeper Ambrosio Mannie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lugo Bailey took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ambrosio Mannie. Ambrosio Mannie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With an all-out effort, BEIJO CARNAVAL's Faron Resto threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florentino Ciano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Edgardo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Ciano in the 36th minute of play forced ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Faron Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Faron Resto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save ARES FC DeusDeFutbol from getting a goal against them. Edgardo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half ARES FC DeusDeFutbol were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Taylor Swift got free with Ambrosio Mannie in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to BEIJO CARNAVAL getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ruben Fertus hit a great ball. Edgardo Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faron Resto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. Florentino Ciano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Duarte Ortiz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ambrosio Mannie but with some difficulty. In the 58th minute, Aaron Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Duarte Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEIJO CARNAVAL the free kick. After 61 played minutes ARES FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Ortiz. Faron Resto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Franco in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Franco in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faron Resto saved ARES FC DeusDeFutbol from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faron Resto was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, BEIJO CARNAVAL's goal looked a bit too open when Lugo Bailey came free, but Ambrosio Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lugo Bailey in the 69th minute of the match. Edgardo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ARES FC DeusDeFutbol booed when BEIJO CARNAVAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Endira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Faron Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edgardo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, BEIJO CARNAVAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Ciano to maneuver through the defense. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Faron Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Franco in the 91st minute of play. Faron Resto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Franco's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The ARES FC DeusDeFutbol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ARES FC DeusDeFutbol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
