Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denis Law kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Denis Law shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Tuleiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nardo Torrecilla hit a great ball. Frasco Esquivel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Balaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Codruț Tuleiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Law in the 12th minute of play. Codruț Tuleiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ilie Balaci took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Frasco Esquivel to make any attempt to save it. Codruț Tuleiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Law in the 23rd minute of the match. Baltasar Zunzunegui got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pablo-Enrique Erauzquin. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Balaci in the 33rd minute of play. Archibaldo Ahumada kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Baltasar Zunzunegui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- the free kick. The supporters of F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- booed when AFC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Zunzunegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Baltasar Zunzunegui threw the ball into play from the sideline. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Arieșan in the 48th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Frasco Esquivel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Alin Stolniciu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frasco Esquivel having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Stolniciu came free, but Frasco Esquivel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codruț Tuleiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Law, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codruț Tuleiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo-Enrique Erauzquin in the 71st minute of play. The throw-in from Baltasar Zunzunegui in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- were furious when Doru Cârju was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 78th minute, one of F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-. Codruț Tuleiu had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Archibaldo Ahumada's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Codruț Tuleiu made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Edwin Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Edwin Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codruț Tuleiu. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Codruț Tuleiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Law in the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Vintilă Arieșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frasco Esquivel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- had won after a very even match.
