An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Montoia in the 21st minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wen Yong Sha ran back to his position shaking his head. Diamantino Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wen Yong Sha, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. XV de Piracicaba's Michel Pernambucano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save XV de Piracicaba from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when XV de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Futbol Club RRFV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. XV de Piracicaba were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauã Lira was the one to do the kick off. Diamantino Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Montoia, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Diamantino Senna had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fábio Montoia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 61 minutes into the game, Leonel Sanches cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XV de Piracicaba the free kick. XV de Piracicabas' Diamantino Senna just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 70thth minute after Gonzalo Jurdans penalty, and stop a certain goal. In the 71st minute, Xu Ping Song hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilson Custódio got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcinho Loureiro during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcel Hoffmann hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. XV de Piracicaba walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
