The corner ended in Archibaldo Ahumada almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Kukova's Václav Židek did a great save. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Ján Kolman put in a rough tackle. 97 minutes into the match, Edwin Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Václav Židek. FC Kukova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When the match was over FC Kukova could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AFC United throughout the match.
