Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Kauã Lira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauã Lira in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gelu Amânaloae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Constantin Daraban came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin Daraban couldn't finish the play. Diamantino Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Stelaru's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 10 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Baptista. When MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dan Stelaru in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Futbol Club RRFV's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute of the match MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a corner. Futbol Club RRFV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel Boteanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Florin Darabonț hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Gelu Amânaloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival do Vale in the 17th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Leonel Sanches took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gelu Amânaloae to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th minute, João Francisco Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Stelaru in the 29th minute of play. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Cutieru in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a corner. Futbol Club RRFV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel Boteanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Futbol Club RRFV's goalie and right to Leonard Deșliu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Futbol Club RRFV's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Cutieru in the 37th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a well-played corner which Silviu Cutieru managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Liviu Mincu hit a great ball. Gelu Amânaloae acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marcel Hoffmann. Gelu Amânaloae made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Kauã Lira sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Leonard Deșliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diamantino Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Gelu Amânaloae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Sanches in the 62nd minute of play. Gelu Amânaloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Lira in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Diamantino Senna made a precise shot to the right of Gelu Amânaloae. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Daraban in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Sanches came free, but Gelu Amânaloae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Daraban, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gelu Amânaloae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Iacob kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Leonard Deșliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Diamantino Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Pavel Iacob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol Club RRFV the free kick. In the 91st minute, one of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV. Marcel Hoffmann walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 98 minutes into the game, Dan Stelaru lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Diamantino Senna. Futbol Club RRFV were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV for a fine match.
