Spectators: 7751 (Terracing: 5815, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dan Stelaru took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ekialde Balsera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Dan Stelaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of AFC United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV:s goal. The referee gave MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manuel Boteanu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AFC United's Frasco Esquivel. 0-1. After 11 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Sitaru. 14 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Gelu Amânaloae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ekialde Balsera. 15 minutes into the game, AFC United's Pirro Pereta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gelu Amânaloae made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Gelu Amânaloae proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Gelu Amânaloae got control of the ball when Denis Law tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pirro Pereta got free with Gelu Amânaloae in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gelu Amânaloae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Law in the 22nd minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dan Stelaru made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frasco Esquivel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gelu Amânaloae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Law, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Deșliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasco Esquivel having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Ekialde Balsera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV the free kick. Ekialde Balsera hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Gelu Amânaloae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirro Pereta, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Stelaru in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Law came free, but Gelu Amânaloae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frasco Esquivel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Stelaru in the 59th minute. After 62 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Nardo Torrecilla. After 65 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Nemanja Vidic. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Stelaru in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pirro Pereta in the 67th minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Gelu Amânaloae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonard Deșliu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frasco Esquivel. That made the score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 77th minute, Denis Law ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gelu Amânaloae was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Frasco Esquivel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Stelaru in the 82nd minute of play. Gelu Amânaloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pirro Pereta in the 85th minute of the match. When AFC United's Denis Law in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalie prevented a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Ekialde Balsera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gelu Amânaloae. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ekialde Balsera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. When AFC United's Denis Law in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
