FERRABARCA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gualterio Perrando ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gualterio Perrando got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Faustão Veiga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Gregorio Santana put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Faustão Veiga. Serafin Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rik Lagunas in the 22nd minute of play. Serafin Maurino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Morillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Faustão Veiga made a huge save. With 33 minutes on the clock, Samuel Almaguer commited a dangerous tackle. The FERRABARCA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Faustão Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Lertxun, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Faustão Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Perrando in the 61st minute of the match. Efrain Milian charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Milian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PINGO PINGO getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. FERRABARCA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. FERRABARCA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
