The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malvin Vidaurre during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Beltza Rubin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when 巩傲鹰 came free, but Giro Rollan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caaguazu's Kismi Sierralta got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 福建宁德活塞队's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Conrado Faron scored to the left of an out of position 狄昂松, making the score, 1-0. In the 34th minute of the match, Kismi Sierralta got a very nice opportunity to score, but 狄昂松 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Giro Rollan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 巩傲鹰 in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute 巩傲鹰 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giro Rollan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Faron in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 狄昂松 saved 福建宁德活塞队 from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, 巩傲鹰 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 福建宁德活塞队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caaguazu the free kick. 巩傲鹰 hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Faron to make the kick off. Kismi Sierralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Kismi Sierralta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caaguazu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Caaguazu's Conrado Faron in 64 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. 狄昂松 guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Malvin Vidaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when 福建宁德活塞队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. 姚益彬 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 狄昂松 came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caaguazu's Conrado Faron. But to his dismay, Conrado Faron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 洪德兴 kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 福建宁德活塞队's 狄昂松 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kismi Sierralta in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 洪德兴 during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes 福建宁德活塞队 got a freekick which was hit by 洪德兴. When Caaguazu's Conrado Faron in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 福建宁德活塞队's goalie prevented a goal. Kismi Sierralta took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 狄昂松. 狄昂松 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caaguazu fans cheered their team off the field, for while 福建宁德活塞队 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
