With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnny Paredes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Buğra Özilhan came free, but Johnny Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Faron was the one to do the kick off. Fiori Guimarães was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's corner Fiori Guimarães fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Johnny Paredes quite easily take care of the ball. Fiori Guimarães got in the 59th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Johnny Paredes. This was a shot which ended in a score of 4-2. If Tanush Çarçani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Conrado Faron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caaguazu's Johnny Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Secco in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Caaguazu defense, Tanush Çarçani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnny Paredes. The Caaguazu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnny Paredes should have stopped the shot. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fiori Guimarães in the 77th minute. The corner ended in Fiori Guimarães almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caaguazu's Johnny Paredes did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malvin Vidaurre in the 82nd minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Germano Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Malvin Vidaurre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Germano Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arlo Albiz took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Brasil. Germano Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. Tanush Çarçani kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ronaldo Queraria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Johnny Paredes made a huge save. Caaguazu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga for a fine match.
