Spectators: 7838 (Terracing: 5880, Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 156) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iosif Doicaru kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Iosif Doicaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Maureo came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Rasnita's Gheorghe Stoiciu. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Stoiciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Gheorghe Stoiciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Iosif Doicaru made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Maureo. Sportivo Ben Hur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ovidio Maureo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gheorghe Stoiciu sent off a good shot on target. Iosif Doicaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ovidio Maureo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Maraman in the 23rd minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Manuel Hogaș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rasnita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejandro Igon was slow to take the kick. During this time Sportivo Ben Hur's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iosif Doicaru got free with Ovidio Maureo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Iosif Doicaru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidio Maureo, 3-0. Ovidio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Doicaru in the 33rd minute of play. Ovidio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Stoiciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Gheorghe Stoiciu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ovidio Maureo came out and tried to block the shot, but Gheorghe Stoiciu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. The corner led Rasnita's Horia Moisescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Ovidio Maureo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 45 minutes, Alejandro Igon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Ben Hur and the Rasnita players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Maraman to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Rasnita's Iosif Doicaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Maureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. A collision led to Rasnita getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Remus Maleș hit a great ball. In the 57th minute of the match Alejandro Igon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Hogaș showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristinel Papadima's late challenge caught a Sportivo Ben Hur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristinel Papadima helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Papadima to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Maraman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Manuel Hogaș made a huge save. Stelian Petru struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ovidio Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rasnita. Ovidio Piarres's late challenge caught a Rasnita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Piarres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Sportivo Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Piarres to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Iosif Doicaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Iosif Doicaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rasnita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Domingos Turi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ovidio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Stoiciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rasnita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
