The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Horia Moisescu. With a little luck, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Lemmy Stecher got control of the ball when Remus Maleș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyler Gern in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Petre to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Lemmy Stecher successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th minute Sebastian Condrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemmy Stecher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Anhalter in the 27th minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Manuel Hogaș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Adrian Petre tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lemmy Stecher saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Bruno Meul got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 43rd minute Eberhard Dost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Hogaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per Anhalter to strike the kick off in the second half. When Horia Moisescu fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rasnita's protests and gave Horia Moisescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Horia Moisescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lemmy Stecher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Maleș in the 53rd minute of play. Ehrhard Kowalewski hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Lemmy Stecher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Petre, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Lemmy Stecher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Petru in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Rasnita booed when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyler Gern didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Petru in the 66th minute of play forced 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Lemmy Stecher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rasnita had won after a very even match.
