Luis Alberto Moura started the match with the kick off. Stelian Petru hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Alberto Moura in the 10th minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Manuel Hogaș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Laus Deo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Michel de Alcântara hit a great ball. Arsenio Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Doicaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Stelian Petru got a free kick in the 15th minute. Arsenio Manni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gheorghe Stoiciu in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Laus Deo's goalkeeper Arsenio Manni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Laus Deo's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Doicaru came free, but Arsenio Manni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iosif Doicaru hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Manuel Hogaș came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Laus Deo's Luis Alberto Moura. But to his dismay, Luis Alberto Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Petru in the 40th minute of play forced Laus Deo's goalkeeper Arsenio Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Iosif Doicaru made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Laus Deo's Manuel Hogaș threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Alberto Moura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Rasnita from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Laus Deo's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Petru came free, but Arsenio Manni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Manni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Maleș went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Laus Deo's Eliseu Arósio was substituted for Antonio Gora. If Sebastian Condrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
