Best Killer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Manni having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Alberto Moura in the 16th minute of play forced Made in Paraguay's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Laus Deo booed when Made in Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerazan Tarano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincente Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Tande in the 20th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Gildo Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Robinho Recife recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vincente Monzon. Robinho Recife showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Laus Deo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
