The audience thought a goal was coming when Eberhard Dost got free with Svyatoslav Botvinnikov in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Barcelona Lassa booed when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyler Gern didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Vitaliy Tinkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemmy Stecher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vitaliy Tinkov came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Barcelona Lassa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitaliy Tinkov couldn't finish the play. Lemmy Stecher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. With a little luck, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Lemmy Stecher got control of the ball when Efim Lentovskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Barcelona Lassa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
