Freddy Txilar replaced Raimundo Primo. After the first half Club Getafe Deportivo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marciano Maxin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Viejo in the 58th minute of play forced Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Abelardo Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Ralondo. After 67 played minutes Club Getafe Deportivo got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Viejo. The supporters of Sportivo Ben Hur booed when Club Getafe Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 89 minutes, Roldán Martinez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Getafe Deportivo and the Sportivo Ben Hur players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Getafe Deportivo getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Roldán Martinez hit a great ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Valdo Viejo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Getafe Deportivo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdo Viejo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Roldán Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Club Getafe Deportivo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sportivo Ben Hur.
