Spectators: 7841 (Terracing: 5882, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kong Ping started the match with the kick off. Bayındır Otay came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Laus Deo's Cacá Diniz. But to his dismay, Cacá Diniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Efrain Vilardell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Arsenio Manni made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Efrain Vilardell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arsenio Manni. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Vilardell in the 21st minute of play forced Laus Deo's goalkeeper Arsenio Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Manni stood somewhat misplaced when Efrain Vilardell came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 24 minute. After some careless play in the Laus Deo defense, Efrain Vilardell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Manni. The Laus Deo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Manni should have stopped the shot. Atletico Maturrango's Efrain Vilardell got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arsenio Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Vilardell, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Bayındır Otay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacá Diniz went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Cacá Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bayındır Otay was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efrain Vilardell made a kick off. When Efrain Vilardell came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Atletico Maturrango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Vilardell couldn't finish the play. Bayındır Otay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kong Ping, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Laus Deo were furious when Romeo Peto was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 57 minutes into the game, one of Laus Deo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Laus Deo:s Arsenio Manni showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Palomar:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Vilardell in the 61st minute of play forced Laus Deo's goalkeeper Arsenio Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Antonio Gora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laus Deo and the Atletico Maturrango players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atletico Maturrango's Ederono Ojero was substituted for Efrain Vilardell. Arsenio Manni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ederono Ojero went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. In the 70th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Anievas to maneuver through the defense. Laus Deo's Eugênio Negri was substituted for Robinho Recife. In the 72nd minute, Rodney Anievas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kong Ping scored 4-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bayındır Otay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Atletico Maturrango's Ederono Ojero in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laus Deo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ederono Ojero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Maturrango's supporters rose to their feet, but Ederono Ojero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Manni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bayındır Otay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugênio Negri in the 92nd minute. Atletico Maturrango's Bayındır Otay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Maturrango from getting a goal against them. Celsinho Diniz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Kong Ping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayındır Otay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oso Sigali charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oso Sigali the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oso Sigali to maneuver through the defense. Orlin Hinojosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Arsenio Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
