After a rather tough play, FC Klavertje Vier's Ron Everaerts got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th match minute, FC Klavertje Vier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Gyselincx to maneuver through the defense. Davi Camargo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jerom De Middeleer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Celedonio Kemen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Trindade Atlético Club's Edmílson Britto. Edmílson Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Jerom De Middeleer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes Trindade Atlético Club got a freekick which was hit by Davi Camargo. The supporters of Trindade Atlético Club booed when FC Klavertje Vier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Kemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's Rafa Borre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renzo Tailleur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kiko Cearense scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renzo Tailleur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Davi Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Celedonio Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renzo Tailleur came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Trindade Atlético Club's Cristiano Mota. But to his dismay, Cristiano Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Amadeu Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trindade Atlético Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Esteves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renzo Tailleur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Deckkers made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Augustinas Dauparas immediately put the ball in play. Cristiano Ronaldinho's late challenge caught a FC Klavertje Vier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Ronaldinho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Trindade Atlético Club getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Cristiano Ronaldinho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerom De Middeleer in the 78th minute of play forced Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Edmílson Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celedonio Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Jerom De Middeleer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Klavertje Vier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Armağan Yörük sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dean Bollaert's late challenge caught a Trindade Atlético Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dean Bollaert helped the player get up and apologised. 93 minutes into the game, Trindade Atlético Club's Kiko Cearense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renzo Tailleur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Trindade Atlético Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Klavertje Vier had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
