Bajen Mucho FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEN LIONS the free kick. In the 4th minute, Gunnar Törnqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Tham hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Sakis Kaberis fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREEN LIONS's protests and gave Sakis Kaberis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Sakis Kaberis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonis Maltezos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Tham in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Prodromos Koufos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ove Hjeltman, 1-0. A collision led to Bajen Mucho FF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fritz Forssberg hit a great ball. Prodromos Koufos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ove Hjeltman made a huge save. Theofilos Tassatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Sakis Kaberis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Hjeltman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Antonis Maltezos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Ahlgren in the 37th minute of play. Kurt Tham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonis Maltezos having to interfere. Antonis Maltezos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Tham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Prodromos Koufos managed to get in a good position for a shot. GREEN LIONS's supporters rose to their feet, but Prodromos Koufos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Hjeltman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ignatios Papachronakis scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hjeltman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bajen Mucho FF's Ove Hjeltman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatios Papachronakis in the 68th minute of play. Stig-Åke Uggstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Sakis Kaberis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Kurt Tham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonis Maltezos was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Fritz Forssberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Christos Kavogiannis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theofilos Tassatos's late challenge caught a Bajen Mucho FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theofilos Tassatos helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes GREEN LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Theofilos Tassatos.
