The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's Roy Nordström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bai Chao Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bai Chao Zheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arne Karlsson in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, Virgílio Benevides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Christoph Haßelmann came free, but Adrian Dalberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ludomir Barna fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pau Nas Canelas's protests and gave Ludomir Barna a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vännäsby BF's zone, Palmiro Picasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Dalberg came out of the goal and Palmiro Picasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palmiro Picasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 41 played minutes Pau Nas Canelas got a freekick which was hit by Américo Henriques. Bai Chao Zheng made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Magnus Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Vännäsby BF's Roy Nordström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bai Chao Zheng. That made the score 1-1 after 48 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roy Nordström to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Magnus Karlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bai Chao Zheng was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Bai Chao Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Christoph Haßelmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Dalberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Karlsson took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bai Chao Zheng. Bai Chao Zheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 80thth minute of the game Magnus Karlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pau Nas Canelas's Bai Chao Zheng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bai Chao Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Karlsson in the 85th minute of play. Christoph Haßelmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Palmiro Picasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pau Nas Canelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palmiro Picasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Roy Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vännäsby BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Nordström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bai Chao Zheng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pau Nas Canelas's Avelino Tinoco got a free kick in the 96th minute. Vännäsby BF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
