An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmiro Picasso in the 12th minute of play forced Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Marta Poom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Palmiro Picasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marta Poom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Nicolao Nogal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolao Nogal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bai Chao Zheng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Palmiro Picasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batista Diana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bai Chao Zheng having to interfere. Marta Poom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Nicolao Nogal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imperio Catatumbo de Lara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nicolao Nogal struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Bai Chao Zheng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara. Palmiro Picasso took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marta Poom. Marta Poom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 44th minute Palmiro Picasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marta Poom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Pau Nas Canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Biraga to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolao Nogal came free, but Bai Chao Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Nicolao Nogal made the kick off in the second half. Palmiro Picasso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Marta Poom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bai Chao Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolao Nogal in the 53rd minute of play. Bai Chao Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolao Nogal, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Pau Nas Canelas's Christoph Haßelmann got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ludomir Barna charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pau Nas Canelas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute of the match Imperio Catatumbo de Lara got a corner. The corner led Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Angelino Lore to fire away a dangerous shot which Bai Chao Zheng despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Palmiro Picasso came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Pau Nas Canelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Palmiro Picasso couldn't finish the play. Pau Nas Canelas's Bai Chao Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Lore in the 79th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Américo Henriques during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pau Nas Canelas getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Américo Henriques hit a great ball. Marta Poom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palmiro Picasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara booed when Pau Nas Canelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montrel Blazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Angelino Lore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Lore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Ádám Dobos came free, but Bai Chao Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara had played much better football throughout.
