FC Klavertje Vier's Renzo Tailleur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathieu-Maxim Toussain in the 9th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, FC Klavertje Vier's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu-Maxim Toussain came free, but Renzo Tailleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christoph Van Ghele hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Kemen in the 12th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Izak Capellemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Jerom De Middeleer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lions United's Izak Capellemans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunter Van Bets kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Izak Capellemans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacq Rouvoet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Izak Capellemans was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Jerom De Middeleer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerom De Middeleer really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 24th minute Carl Vinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renzo Tailleur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, FC Klavertje Vier's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Vinckx came free, but Renzo Tailleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Vinckx took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renzo Tailleur. Renzo Tailleur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 27 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Kemen came free, but Izak Capellemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Kemen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Izak Capellemans made a huge save. Jerom De Middeleer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Izak Capellemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Mathieu-Maxim Toussain put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Renzo Tailleur. 45 minutes into the match, Jacq Rouvoet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Izak Capellemans. Lions United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacq Rouvoet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carl Vinckx was the one to do the kick off. Jacq Rouvoet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Kemen scored 4-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Izak Capellemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carl Vinckx 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacq Rouvoet in the 60th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Izak Capellemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dany-Adams Gijselinckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Izak Capellemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacq Rouvoet, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. FC Klavertje Vier made a substitution. Johan Bakayoko replaced Pierre Gebuers. 75 minutes into the match, FC Klavertje Vier's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Vinckx came free, but Renzo Tailleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izak Capellemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Kemen in the 78th minute of play. Lions United's Izak Capellemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Kemen in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Christoph Van Ghele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lions United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Klavertje Vier the free kick. After 82 played minutes Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Christoph Van Ghele. After 84 minutes of play, FC Klavertje Vier's Celedonio Kemen made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Izak Capellemans was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Rutgeerts in the 88th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Izak Capellemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Kemen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Izak Capellemans having to make a save. Izak Capellemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacq Rouvoet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
