Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignatios Papachronakis in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Izak Capellemans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes of play, GREEN LIONS's Prodromos Koufos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Izak Capellemans was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommi Uytebroeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes of play, GREEN LIONS's Ignatios Papachronakis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A collision led to Lions United getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Carl Vinckx hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Sokratis Orfanopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GREEN LIONS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions United the free kick. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Sokratis Orfanopoulos got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Ignatios Papachronakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GREEN LIONS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignatios Papachronakis to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Tommi Uytebroeck. Sakis Kaberis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Izak Capellemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mitch Hollandts hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Antonis Maltezos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Vinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Vinckx in the 85th minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Antonis Maltezos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonis Maltezos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Vinckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Ignatios Papachronakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izak Capellemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
