Avelino Tinoco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. Ludomir Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Antonis Maltezos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Palmiro Picasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antonis Maltezos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palmiro Picasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonis Maltezos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmiro Picasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Virgílio Benevides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palmiro Picasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignatios Papachronakis to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ignatios Papachronakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bai Chao Zheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pau Nas Canelas's zone, Prodromos Koufos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bai Chao Zheng came out of the goal and Prodromos Koufos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palmiro Picasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palmiro Picassos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Antonis Maltezos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Palmiro Picasso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 64th playminute. If Prodromos Koufos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignatios Papachronakis in the 71st minute of play forced Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Bai Chao Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bai Chao Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignatios Papachronakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Pau Nas Canelas's Nunez Sasoin got a free kick in the 76th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Palmiro Picasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pau Nas Canelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palmiro Picasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pau Nas Canelas. 88 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Palmiro Picasso came free, but Antonis Maltezos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Pau Nas Canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 董真林 to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's Prodromos Koufos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Nunez Sasoin fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pau Nas Canelas's protests and gave Nunez Sasoin a yellow card for diving instead. Bai Chao Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignatios Papachronakis in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Prodromos Koufos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pau Nas Canelas's Bai Chao Zheng. Bai Chao Zheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GREEN LIONS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
