Reinaldo Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Quintin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Benedito Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s protests and gave Benedito Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. Herminio Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reinaldo Damião came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by ALIDIM FOR EVER's Damian Orlo. But to his dismay, Damian Orlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Reinaldo Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Veronica in the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when ALIDIM FOR EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinaldo Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Orlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Herminio Quintin made a precise shot to the right of Reinaldo Damião. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 40 minutes of play, ALIDIM FOR EVER's Damian Orlo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Damião was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Orlo in the 43rd minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaldo Damião should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Travassos during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ALIDIM FOR EVER booed when Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position.
