The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Reinaldo Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. KS Ruch Chorzów's Jaroslaw Marchlewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to KS Ruch Chorzów getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cezary Duda hit a great ball. Reinaldo Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Grajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, KS Ruch Chorzów's Rafal Poniewaz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Damião was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyprian Grajewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cyprian Grajewski scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaldo Damião, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Wit Dziewedik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinaldo Damião. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wit Dziewedik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Reinaldo Damião came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Ruch Chorzów's Wit Dziewedik. But to his dismay, Wit Dziewedik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After having played for 63 minutes, Wit Dziewedik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Ruch Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wit Dziewedik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 minutes, Marquinhos Cavalcante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- and the KS Ruch Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card. 76 minutes into the match, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Poniewaz came free, but Reinaldo Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rafal Poniewaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute, Wit Dziewedik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Ruch Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. A collision led to Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Diego Velloso hit a great ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Damião, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Wit Dziewedik notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Reinaldo Damião. Reinaldo Damião was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that KS Ruch Chorzów were the better team. KS Ruch Chorzów's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
