An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Geels in the 3rd minute of play forced Cyber Attack's goalkeeper Mathys Courrèges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathys Courrèges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenik Kromkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Oscar Vaalman sped through Cyber Attack's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mathys Courrèges. After 21 minutes of play, Verwachting's Ruud Geels made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathys Courrèges was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Vaalman's late challenge caught a Cyber Attack's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Vaalman helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rémy Jacquey in the 34th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Melvin Borgman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Verwachting fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Verwachting's Ruud Geels looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute, Luis Plasse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Ruud Geels sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathys Courrèges skillfully saved the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Cyber Attack's goal looked a bit too open when Domenik Kromkamp came free, but Mathys Courrèges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Ruud Geels made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Oscar Vaalman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mathys Courrèges, 0-6. In the 65th match minute, Cyber Attack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Marc Loy to maneuver through the defense. Mathys Courrèges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Geels in the 68th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Ruud Geels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Mathys Courrèges was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Verwachting's Melvin Borgman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rémy Jacquey in the 73rd minute of play. Mathys Courrèges was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Oscar Vaalman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oscar Vaalman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. After a rather tough play, Cyber Attack's Rémy Jacquey got a free kick in the 89th minute. Mathys Courrèges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenik Kromkamp in the 91st minute. When the final whistle sounded Verwachting left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cyber Attack.
